Cartridge Filter Module assemblies
In 2010, Primaweld was awarded a contract to fabricate and assemble 3 cartridge filter module frames measuring approximately 37 x 10.5 x 4.5m and 185,000kg. Welding was completed in our workshop and the final fabrication in our 4 acre yard. The completed modules were each split in half and sent to site by a fleet of heavy freight trucks. Following the fabrication of these modules, Primaweld was awarded a following 4 packages. Work was completed by mid-2011. Supply of materials, painting, NDT, hydrostatic testing and fiberglass spooling was all part of this package
